DIN 1478 turnbuckle nuts are to be assembled with DIN 34828 welding ends made of the same material. In this case, the load bearing capacity of the turnbuckle nut is greater then the load capacity of the wellding ends. When assembling with end fittings of a different material, especially a material with a higher strength, the load bearing capacity of the turnbuckle nut is to be examined seperately
