AMTEC® screws achieve high-strength, durable and economical screw connections of plastic components. With their self-tapping thread, they are tailored to the direct screw connection of thermoplastic material. The specific material requirements of polymer materials are taken into account by the screw geometry, so that high load capacity and tear-out strength are achieved. The result is a durable and self-locking connection. Cost reduction results from the saving of thread creation. In addition, no additional securing as with washers or nuts is required. The connection can be disconnected several times (up to ten times). For optimized and easy assembly, the screw-in and over-tightening torques are far apart and prevent errors when screwing
